Yes. Puppies receive age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming before leaving for their new homes. Each puppy goes home with a health record containing important information regarding the care and treatments received while in our care. New owners are responsible for continuing the vaccination and preventive-care schedule recommended by their veterinarian.

Yes. Barb’s Precious Pups provides a 1-year limited health warranty with our puppies. We encourage every new owner to carefully review our current Health Warranty and Purchase Agreement, which explains the warranty coverage, requirements, exclusions, and responsibilities of both the buyer and Barb’s Precious Pups.

Yes. A prompt veterinary examination is an important part of welcoming a new puppy into your family and is also required under the terms of our health warranty.

Yes. Our puppies go home microchipped, providing an additional means of identification should your dog ever become lost. New owners should make sure their current contact information is properly registered and associated with their puppy’s microchip.

Barb’s Precious Pups currently provides one month of Trupanion pet health insurance with our puppies. New owners should carefully follow the activation instructions and applicable deadlines provided at the time of purchase to take advantage of this coverage.

Puppy prices generally range from $1,000 to $2,000, depending on the breed and individual puppy. Pricing may vary, so please contact us for current pricing on the puppy you are interested in. Delivery is available at an additional cost when needed.

A deposit may be required to reserve your selected puppy. Deposits are non-refundable, and additional terms apply regarding the remaining balance, pickup, and delivery arrangements.

We strongly encourage families to review our Purchase Agreement and ask any questions before submitting a deposit. We do accept Credit cards,  Venmo,  Zelle,  Cashapp,  PayPal, Chime and of course Cash.  A 3-10% fee may apply.

Yes. Barb’s Precious Pups offers delivery to many locations throughout the United States. Delivery availability and cost depend on your location and the travel arrangements required. Contact us with your city and state, and we can discuss the best available option for safely getting your new puppy home.

Pet Nanny delivery allows your puppy to travel with an attendant during the journey rather than traveling alone. Barb’s Precious Pups recommends this delivery option for many of our non-local families. Delivery arrangements and costs vary depending on the destination and travel requirements.

Puppies generally leave Barb’s Precious Pups when they are at least 8 weeks old and ready to transition into their new homes.

The exact go-home date may vary depending on the puppy’s age, health, development, vaccinations, and individual circumstances. Our priority is making sure each puppy is appropriately prepared for the transition to its new family.

Yes. Our puppies are raised in a home and family environment with an emphasis on health, temperament, handling, and early socialization. These early experiences help puppies begin developing confidence and important social skills. Continued positive socialization, training, and exposure after going home are essential parts of raising a well-adjusted adult dog.

No. We can provide an estimated adult size based on the puppy’s breed, parents, genetics, and family history; however, exact adult height or weight cannot be guaranteed. Genetics, nutrition, activity level, health, and individual development can all influence a dog’s eventual adult size.

Preparing in advance can make your puppy’s transition much easier. We recommend having appropriate puppy food, food and water bowls, a crate or comfortable sleeping area, puppy pads, safe toys, grooming supplies, and other everyday essentials ready before your puppy arrives. We do provide you with a prepared recommendation supply list and the link to my Amazon store.  You should also puppy-proof your home and schedule your puppy’s first veterinary examination according to the requirements of your Health Warranty and Purchase Agreement.

Yes. Small and toy breed puppies may require additional attention, particularly during the transition into a new home.

If you notice a concerning change in your puppy’s health or behavior, promptly contact us or your veterinarian.

We understand that circumstances can sometimes change. Barb’s Precious Pups asks owners to contact us before surrendering, transferring, or rehoming a dog purchased from us.

Under our purchase terms, our dogs should not be surrendered to a shelter or rescue organization without first contacting Barb’s Precious Pups. We may be able to assist with taking the dog back for rehoming. Transportation and associated expenses remain the owner’s responsibility. Please refer to your Purchase Agreement for the complete terms and requirements.
